Facebook tips
You can save links for articles, events, posts, recipes, etc and they will be kept in a SAVED spot near your favorites.
Facebook now allows you to decide if you want to see all, some or none of the posts from people & places you follow, this is a nice alternative to setting up notifications on your favorite pages.
Staying in touch...
Facebook indicates posts are reaching less than 25 of the 450 fans and wants me to pay to promote or boosts the posts. To stay in touch and not miss out on a fun event, change your facebook settings, sign up to get updates from blogger or follow along on Pinterest. I'll leave the Facebook button here on the blog as it's an easy place for you to share an event or ask a question but I can't promise posts will be made there regularly as it's discouraging when post after post goes by without a like.
I have a twitter account (@gazemacik) connected to blogger and you're welcome to follow along there but beware, tweets are a combination of Trumbull County Family & Children First Council, Life in Niles, Kidding Around and personal.
About this blog...
I'm not a writer. I am a stay at home mom who has spent the past couple years hunting down free & cheap things to do with my kiddos. I've thought of starting a site to share these events & activities with other families in the area but I could never figure out how to add a calendar to a blog. Therefore, the majority of the posts will be labeled with the date that it is taking place, simply look to the right of the page. I think that works out just fine as there is so much to do on any given day, the calendar would be either huge or jumbled! A good majority of my posts will be cut and pasted right from my source but if I can't find it online or if I came across it while I was out and about, I'll share a photo of that info.
