Summer Lunch Program from ODE


Free summer lunch for kids (ages 1-18) served at area schools, churches, parks.  Must be eaten on premises.  






The U. S. Department of Agriculture funds a summer lunch program that is administered by the Ohio Department of Education. There are a few school districts in our area participating with more and more sites added each year. USDA says to call 1-866-3-HUNGRY to learn about service in your area.



Warren City Schools serves in Warren school locations, parks in Warren & Niles.

Pymatuning Lake Fest offers family fun along the lake


Pymatuning Lake Fest, one of the biggest and longest-running festivals in Ashtabula County, Ohio, is held at The Pymatuning State Park main beach area property (5354 Pymatuning Lake Road, Andover OH 44003), south of the Route 85 causeway.  This event featuring artisans and crafters, continuous entertainment both days, activities, inflatables and games, food concessions, a beauty pageant and contests for all ages.

 “Families can come enjoy the festival events without spending a lot of money," Andover Chamber of Commerce President Pam Harting said. "Our Lake Fest has become one of the biggest and longest running festivals in the county. It draws upwards to 15,000 people over the two days.”

Mill Creek Family Garden and Fellows Riverside



The Mill Creek Park family garden (located on the Fellows Riverside Garden property) is open  on a regular basis for kids to play and explore.  Currently a program is taking place on Fridays in which someone will teach you something about the garden.
