The City of Niles 4th of July Celebrations!

The City of Niles is going all out on their 4th of July celebrations this year!

The Avenue & Main Committee has worked hard to revieve the Harry Steven's Hot Dog Day.  This festival will be held on Sunday, June 30th and the 4th of July parade will take place that day.
Other activites scheduled for that day are a hot dog dressing competion, cornhole tournament, music, baseball clinic, weiner dog races, food, bingo and vendors.

1:00 pm Kick-Off Event (Parade Stage on Main Street)

2:45 pm The Summit Jammers Band (State Street Stage)
3:00 pm Hot Dog Dressing Contest (State Street)
4:00 pm Hot Diggity Dog Wiener Dog Race (Trailhead)
5:00 pm Full House Band (State Street Stage)
6:00 pm Basket Raffle and 50/50 Winners Announced
7:30 pm The Mitrega Brothers (State Street Stage)





The City of Niles will be displaying fireworks at 10:00 on Thursday the 4th.



Please note, there will be a small detour for those of you coming into town from Robbins's Ave.  Because of the bridge closure, the parade route will be altered as well:

Starting at the high school area, then up Federal St. towards McDonalds, Then left onto N. Main St. heading towards Family Video, Then turns left onto Robbins Ave. for a short distance to turn right onto State St. then go past the DQ Brazier to the red light and make a right onto W. Park then go up and turn right onto Main St. heading past Sparkle Market.
