Birthday fun!

This fun centerpiece consists of one large mylar balloon with traditional round latex and spiral accent balloons.  This was taken about a week after the event and cost about $15 from Party On.  This arrangement would be a fun alternative to a flower bouquet.
For my son's 10th birthday I wrapped up his lunch, curly ribbon on the thermos, crepe paper streamer around the juice box, a small balloon and the baloney cut with a 10.  :-)

Staying in touch...

Facebook indicates posts are reaching less than 25 of the 450 fans and wants me to pay to promote or boosts the posts.      To stay in touch and not miss out on a fun event, change your facebook settings, sign up to get updates from blogger or follow along on Pinterest.   I'll leave the Facebook button here on the blog as it's an easy place for you to share an event or ask a question but I can't promise posts will be made there regularly as it's discouraging when post after post goes by without a like.

I have a twitter account (@gazemacik) connected to blogger and you're welcome to follow along there but beware, tweets are a combination of Trumbull County Family & Children First Council, Life in Niles, Kidding Around and personal.

Recycled material Easter egg craft

The pastel colors of veggie and meat trays are perfect for springtime and Easter crafts.

I decided to create some durable Easter Eggs.   After cutting the tray into an egg shape, they could be strung into a garland, turned into a lacing craft for your favorite toddler, decorated with stickers, use toothpicks to poke out a decorative pattern.... The possibilities are endless!
