There is no charge and a donation is not required to enjoy the holiday scene and see the blimps.
The hanger is located in the middle of nowhere but the route is marked. Once you get into the parking lot, you will wind around until you can drive through (think the ride lines at an amusement park). Last year, there were port a potties scattered throughout the lot
