Build a Bear Birthday!

My daughter had her 8th birthday party at the Southern Park Mall's Build a Bear store.  Parties are scheduled online with a deposit, then a store associate contacts you to confirm arrangements, answer questions etc.  The price is determined by the the number of guests and the dollar amount the guest is allowed to spend.  Each guest makes an animal and then if their budget is allowed, they will be presented accessories in their price range.  The birthday child's animal gets a heart from each friend placed in their animal.  Little games are played while stuffing is being done, a special song is performed and a group photo taken (then promptly printed for the birthday child to take home).    I purchased gift cards through Giant Eagle (bonus fuel perk time!) and paid for the balance of the party with those.

 

The store does not accommodate cupcakes or refreshments but you could go to the food court or chick-fil-a.  We headed back to our house for pizza, cake & ice cream then decorated our own bear sized tshirts I had ordered from Amazon.
