Space Saturday Celebration at Great Lakes Science Center ~ Free admission offer for youth

Space Saturday Celebration
Saturday, April 6
10 am – 5 pm

Celebrate the opening of the new NASA Glenn Visitor Center. Check out all of the exciting new space-themed exhibits, and see what it’s like to live and work in space. All youth 12 and under get free general admission all day long!
10 am – Free astronaut ice cream to the first 300 guests who arrive for Space Saturday!
Noon – See a special showing of the OMNIMAX movie, Hubble. Regular OMNIMAX fees apply.
1 pm – Meet NASA astronaut and native Clevelander, Don Thomas, and hear his remarks on “Living and Working in Space.” Space is limited. Seating available on a first come/first served basis. After that, hang around for an informal meet-and-greet autograph session. Don’t forget your camera!
Enter to win prizes including an astronaut jumpsuit from our Science Store, a Great Lakes Science Center family membership or a space-themed kid’s camp.
