First Book Trumbull County will be hosting their Fifth Annual Edible Book Art Festival fund-raiser.
Thursday, March 14th, at 6PM
St. Paul Lutheran Church
2960 East Market Street
Warren
The festival challenge is to create an art piece out of edible material that represents a classic or current children’s book. The inspiring book will be displayed alongside the art piece.
Judges will award first, second, third prizes and an honorable mention.
Entry forms are due March 1st and are available by contacting Ellen Finan, 330-638-4393.
Individual or team entries are both encouraged.
The public is invited to attend the festival on March 14th and select a “People’s Choice” winner by making monetary donation in support of a favorite entry. There will be a variety of basket raffles and a 50/50 drawing, also. All proceeds will go toward book grants to educational programs for low-income families in Trumbull County.
